file CSS Class

CSS Class was created by Julian Abel
Hi,

Thanks for the help with my last query, it helped me solve the problem.

Another question if I may and it follows on in part from the previous one.

I modified the

a:not(.btn) {
color: #ffffff;
}
code in custom.css to set the font color to white for the Title & Read More lines that appear when mouse over images in the mosaic,

That change along with the modification to change Read More to View Larger that you helped with all work fine.

What I have since discovered working on a page that list articles in a particular category that the artical title in the list and the article title on the article page are aslo changed to white as they appear to use the same css class?

What would you advise as the best way to get the colour I want on the article page.

Which template is used to generate the code for the articles? Perhaps I could create another custome class for those elements?

Thanks,

Julian

Thanks

    Hi Mike,

    Thanks for your repl.

    I added
    .blacktext a {
    color:#000000;
    }
    to the custom.css file (location /public_html/templates/photographer/css)

    and blacktext to the Module Class Suffix.

    Unfortunatly the text is still displaying as white, I have attached a screen grab of the relevant area on the page.

    Firebug shows the controling class as
    a:not(.btn) {
    color: #ffffff;

    and the page code as

    <header class="entry-header">
    <h1 class="entry-title page-header">
    <a href="/index.php/originals">
    Wildlife Originals</a>
    </h1>

    </header>

    I'm trying to get the words Wildlife Originals in Black.

    Any suggestions where I may have gone wrong or is there something else I need to do?

    Thanks again for your help - it's much appreciated.

    Regards,

    Julian

    Hi Mike,

    Thanks for your reply, soory havent replied sooners, been a bit unwelll for a couple of days.

    This is still not working as I want. ie Mosaic gallery showing white text when you mouseover an image and the section and article text showing as black on their pages.

    If you look at www,jonathantruss.com/index.php it might help. On the mosaic on the homepage when you mouseover you will see the title of the painting showing in light blue text - this one I want to be white. If you then go to the originals page the text there that you see is light blue I want to be black.

    At the moment all I can seem to achieve is this text either being black or white on both pages.

    I must be missing something!?

    Any help you can offer would be most appreciated.

    Thanks,

    Julian
